Cruising with Disney.......

This past week we went on our first disney cruise. We left Creed home with Nana Donna and Papa John and Grandma Ellen so it was just the older kids. Here the kids are with Minnie before boarding the cruise ship.
The dock in Los Angeles. As soon as I heard Disney cruises would be sailing out of LA, I was sold. I booked our cruise last March. We were the inaugural cruise out of La sailing on the disney wonder. It was AMAZING!
Posing in the lobby while waiting for the elevator...
First things first, we headed straight down to our room and the kids threw their swimsuits on. The room was a lot bigger than our Carnival cruise room last year. It had a queen size bed, a sofa and then everynight at turn down our stateroom attendant would come in, turn the sofa into a twin bed and bring another twin bed down from the ceiling, so there were bunk beds for the kids and a queen size bed for Mike and I. There was a little curtain in between the 2 so we could watch tv or movies after the kids were asleep (which we didn't do a lot of since by the end of every day we were all exhausted!) But speaking of the tv, they had amazing shows on every channel! Almost every channel was a good show for adults and kids, and most of them new enough that I hadn't seen them yet. (I don't get out a lot though to the movies). You really don't have a lot of time to watch tv though, the only time I did was when I was working out at the gym.
Ah, this is the good life. Our weather was absolutely amazing the whole week. Around 70-80 everyday and sunny until the last day.

There are 3 pools. One of them is the Mickey Pool. It has 2 hot tubs and a slide. The other is the Goofy pool. it has 2 hot tubs and a bigger pool and a huge big screen tv with movies playing all the time. There was a big welcome party up on the deck where the goofy pool usually is. They closed off the pool and made it a dance floor.
The kids pushed their way up front and watched up close and personal

We saw a lot of these guys this week........
And plenty of her and him........
and collected quite a few treasures along the way..like these........
and these...............I know I am a mean mom, I didn't let Savvy bring them home.
Cole's favorite
After the party we stopped back by the pool for a quick swim. And some soda of course. Mike got his fill of free soda on the trip.....

Watching the sun set...

This is the only thing we ate all week, lol...............if you believe that just ask our scales. We had dinner Animators Palate. First you get an appetizer, then a salad or soup, then the main entree. Then they bring out the dessert menu. Mike and I tried 2 a piece every night. At animator's palate the whole restaurant starts out in black and white. Slowly the walls and picture start to get color in them. Towards the end of the night before dessert all the characters came out and did a big song and dance and then lights kinda turned off and everything was in color. Pretty neat....
After dinner we all cut some rug on the dance floor at a family dance party. The kids were loving it.
After we dropped them off in the kids club and Mike and I checked out the rest of the boat and went to a little comedy show.
We decided to surprise the kids with a baby tinkerbell and baby buzz lightyear on their pillow when we got back that night. They were so excited.
And that ends day 1...................

This looks SO fun! When I first saw on my blog roll that you had updated, the first thought that came to mind before clicking over was that either you had another disney trip - or a new stroller that you were posting about. hehe :)

I loved the sunset pictures. Your family is so beautiful. We loved watching our cute little Creed while you were gone, but glad that you got to have some quality time with the two older kids.
