We had a long day our second day, we signed up for a tour through Almas Lds Tours. Our tour guide Miguel was amazing and pretty much had the entire Book of Mormon memorized. He took us to Ek Balam, Chichen Itza, and to a senote for some swimming. I highly recommend him if you are in the area wanting to take a tour! I learned so much and it was all fascinating.
First stop was Ek balam. The was the oldest ruins we went to dating back to 100 bc.
There are three walls dividing the city into 3 seperate parts......the temple is on the inside

So fun to see these photos! Brings back all sorts of memories for us. Ek Balam was one of our favorite sites since it is one of the only temple structures you can still climb. Did you see the angels?
