Thanks to Miriam for taking our cute family pictures this year. I really wanted to take them here at Paramount Ranch where I have seen several family pictures taken that turned out amazing, but we got there and figured out you need a permit to shoot there. Bummer. But we ended up going up the street to Malibu Lake and it was super pretty there too.

So I asked another photographer friend if she went and got the permit and she said no, that she goes and if there's no one else there, she shoots anyway. so we went with another friend to get out pictures taken and no one was there. so i guess we just came at a really bad time. next time!

I love your family pictures. I had that same problem last year trying to slurping over for blurb. I was FREAKING OUT!! I had to update the booksmart program. Just go to the blurb web site and download the free program and it will update your old one. It's smart to save your book to your computer before you do that, but I have never had any trouble when I update. Good Luck!
