Mini Vacation........

Mike had a couple days off work and we haven't been on a vacation in FOREVER it seems like, so we decided to spend a couple night at a hotel near disneyland. We stayed here and I would HIGHLY recommend it for anyone staying near disneyland with kids. It was really affordable (cheap actually) and we had this kids room that Savannah and Cole LOVED with bunk beds and this little seperate area for them. Nice heated pool and hot tub too.

Our little hamOn our second day there we were able to get to California Adventure in time to get tickets to see the Color of lights or water show whatever it is called. It was pretty neat but not the greatest show I have seen at disney. All of us loved the fireworks / snow show the night before, it snows and the end and the kids went crazy for the snow.

Fruit snacks make me smile!

Woody and an army guy

Savvy asks everytime we go if she can get her face painted. As you can see she was quite pleased with the results. She almost wouldn't go on Splash Mountain because she didn't want her face paint to get smudged. Mike had to convince her they would cover her face with her hood.

Small World at Christmas time, our favorite
Love Creed's curiousity, he wants to check out everything

Soccer is over!

Soccer season is over.........and we have the trophy to prove it!
Savannah really loved soccer, we are trying to find a soccer league for her that is in the off season from ayso. She needs something to get all that energy out.

Sorry a lot of these pictures are taken by Savvy. Try not to get dizzy
Yum. This looks good right now....

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving day down in Orange County with family. Mike had to work so I schelpped the kids down. We have very limited pictures since I left the battery to my little camera charging. So I borrowed the battery from Carinn's for a couple pics. Millie and Savannah were reunited and there was no love lost between the 2 of them. Its like they had never been apart.
Cute little breanne. She loved putting on necklaces and playing with the lipstick.
Ok today Carinn told me they found a foreign object in bri's ear. After seeing this picture I am not surprised........... :)

These 2 big guys got to hang out as well. They are best buds. I am so sorry I took my kids away from you V. children. Maybe you can follow us here now.....we are close to a naval base :)

My Christmas List...

Dear Santa,
for christmas I want a pair of boy roller skates so I don't have to wear Savvy's pink ones
I would like a hannah montana barbie doll and hannah montana jacket
I would like to get away from this scary looking man who is trying to hold me

Ho Ho Ho

Bridge from Daisy to Brownie!

Savannah had a big day this weekend. She graduated from Daisy to Brownie in Girl scouts. She just started girl scouts in the fall. She begged me to do it last year and I didn't let her because I was too overwhelmed with her starting kindgarten and all, but when she was still begging this year I thought why not. I always wanted to be a girl scout when I was little and my mom never let me, so I thought I better let her try it. I am so glad I did. She has really made some really good friends from it and enjoys every activity.
The ceremony was up in Ojai which is about 35 minutes from our house. It was a gorgeous fall day. The kids loved playing in the leaves

After getting her new brownie vest! Yea Savvy!

Saying her part. She had it memorized but forgot the last line

Taking a goldfish break while we waited for the ceremony to start
Cole and Creed loved running around the camp while the girls were getting ready.

Cole decided to pose for us of the log. He is such a ham

After we had a bbq lunch and costco cake. Yum my favorite. It was a super fun outing.....
