Thanksgiving in AZ

After seeing santa for the first time. Creed was unfazed :)
The guys, shooting!

The last 3 nights we stayed at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, it was SUPER nice! They even upgraded us to a casita for free, I would highly recommend if you are ever in the scottsdale area. They had a FREE kids club, zero entry swimming pool, 2 water slides, fireplaces in the rooms, everything was super fancy. the kids loved the pool.
Creed like splashing in the water. Poor naked guy, I forgot his swimsuit
Ty with his never ending smile

We had a picnic lunch afterwards, it was super fun.
The grandkids- minus Cole who was off pouting because he was weary of being up so high.
Becky, Ty, Geoff, and Creed. Creed and Ty are one month apart.
Drew is quite the lady's man. Becky had to keep telling him Drew that is your cousin!:)
This is a spot we hiked up to in phx, it is right by the zoo. Hole in the rock I think it is called, and appropriately so

There was this HUGE racing car track, the kids stayed there for like 30 minutes playing! It was super neat.

Grandpa Steve and Savvy, target shooting. The 2nd day in az we decided to take a trip to bass pro. we don't have one close to us and mike was dying to go. They had an awesome set up, lots of toys for the kids to play with, and santa was there. It was really neat. We ended up going a second time.
We were able to spend Thanksgiving in Arizona with my Dad and his family. It was really nice, we haven't all been together in quite awhile. Geoff and Rebecca came down from Utah, so we were just missing Dave & alli, and Jenna. (and soon to be kellan). We spent the first 4 nights with my dad and then thanksgiving at jan's with grandma and the last 3 nights at a hotel. It was a fun little getaway.

Christmas Time

I got to spend the day at disneyland with Cole, Sara, and Liza. I was so excited because I feel like I never get to spend one on one time with Cole and it was so nice! it is so funny after you have 3 kids, 1 feels SO easy! Sara said I acted like it was a day at the spa:). Well to me it was equally as nice, just in a different way.

Cole told me after this ride "I don't really like that ride too much, it wasn't fun" Liza loved it SO much she was super bugged we had to get off.

Besties!

First timer!!
I am so behind on blogging, more to come!!!!!!!!

Santa Barbara Zoo

Nicole and I took the kids to Santa Barbara Zoo again. One of our favorite places to visit. It is such a nice zoo, not too big, and the scenery can't be beat. This is little Creed crawling across a grass area where we sat and ate our lunches while looking out over the ocean.
Creed is such a great little boy. He lets us take him anywhere we want to, and at any time too. I'm sure that a big part of that is me and Nicole learning to relax more. Whatever the reason, he is a great kid.
Another view of our little picnic area.
Where is Savannah in all of these pictures? Oh yea, she is in school! Ha Ha. She always has fun there too though.
Mommy and her boys
This is what happens when Creed, or anyone for that matter, takes one of Cole's "Zoo Chips". I have discovered a brand of Chips called Kettle Brand Buffalo Bleu. Our kids refer to them as Zoo Chips because they mainly get them when we go to the Zoo. In the above picture, Creed has just taken one of Cole's beloved chips.
Creed has the best smile. I'm loving my little boy smile too. I'm still trying to learn how to smile for pictures.
Cole looking out across the water at the monkey island. You can't see them in this picture, but the monkeys that reside on the island are usually pretty entertaining. Just one of the many habitats that we love at the Santa Barbara Zoo. I also really like the Gorilla enclosure, the penguins, the Snow Leapord and the California Condor habitats.
The two boys in front of Savannah's favorite animals, the Flamingos.
Me and my big guy. Cole is so funny. He always tells me, "Daddy, will you beat me up?" and "Hit me daddy, hit me!" He really likes to play rough. I don't mind too much, it's my favorite way to play too. Fun times in the past. Lots of fun times coming our way in the near future. Stay tuned for some new blogs in the next month and a half.

Halloween Pics!!

We have been so crazy busy around here I haven't had time to post halloween pics! So here they are, we went to the Roger and Vanessa's house for dinner and treat or treating in their neighborhood after. Their neighborhood was ALL decked out for halloween and almost every house was participating in the trick or treating. We only had to do 1 street and the kids bags were brimming with candy-which is still hanging out in a special place by the way. It keeps dwindling day by day. I swear the kids are eating some of it. And I wonder why I can't lose weight :) Yummy as soon as the halloween candy is gone the rest of the holidays start, so much good food in the fall and winter!
Our sleepy monster at the end of the night
I know my old navy trick or treat bags are ghetto but I forgot to get cute ones!

she said she had to stop and smell the flowers like a real butterfly
Ok i know this is super gross but i had to post this pic! This crazy lady (pictured below) had her house all decked out and it was super scary! Good thing it was dark, the kids didn't notice all the weird stuff

Creed didn't get any candy but the dentists were passing out toothbrushes so that was his special treat. Thanks roger and vanessa, keeping even the youngest mouths clean!

Our pirate

A day earlier we went to the pumpkin patch by our house. It was freezing cold and I forgot my jacket so we didn't stay long.

Sorry so many pictures, I am using this as our scrapbook now so I like to have lots!! So Halloween is over, on to Thanksgiving..........
